New Disabled South is proud to partner with Bigger Than Food Foundation, Main Street Alliance, and We Are Building Progress on TABLE TALKS: Food, Power, & Our Future. This 5-Session Community Education Series is hosted at Filmmakers Ranch in Spencer, Oklahoma.

This series of educational “huddles” aims to bridge the gap between cultural identity and political power.

By using food as the initial draw, the campaign will guide residents from feeling like they are political outsiders to feeling active in the mobilization for the 2027 Day of Action at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The goal is to empower people to advocate in the public arena and influence the Legislative Session.
