Who We Are

Comprised of a maximum of 4 individuals or organizations per state, we meet monthly to align on regional strategy, celebrate wins and communicate barriers, hold each other accountable and organize action.

Grassroots Movement Building

The SDJC approaches this work through the lens of disability justice. Understanding that disabled people are entitled to fully participate in every facet of life, we work towards that goal through collective grassroots efforts.

Resource Sharing and Development

The SDJC is committed to enabling our members and their communities to acquire, sustain, and develop the necessary resources to continue doing the powerful work in their respective states/areas in a larger capacity.

State Action Plan

We are developing action plans for each of our member states. Our work is catered to the people, and the SDJC operates with that at its center. Our members are the subject matter experts in their state, and we let you lead the work.

Regional Interdependence

Operating as individual actors and moving in siloes limits the power and impact of our movements. United, we can go farther and have more sustained success for our communities and movements.
